Budget broke boy15 May 2024 15:49
I think the extra gaming performance of Snapdragon 8's Gen 3 is coming from the Cortex X-4 and L2, L3 Cache. Except for these two things, Dimensity 8300-Ultra has a higher CPU, GPU core frequency. When Poco F6 (Global) comes out, a side-by-side performance comparison can only confirm the real deal.

The 8300 has good specs but when used irl it lacks stability it stutters suddenly when you play around 30mins to 1h. On the other hand 8s gen 3 is very stable since it has better performance and efficiency cores, the one's saying 8300 is better doesn't know what it's performance is in real time experience. But although 8300 is very affordable compared to 8s gen 3 so you can call it king of budget if you're just looking for an affordable gaming chipset for around 250$ to 320$. But overall 8s gen 3 is better since it's more stable and better architecture.

I saw some videos on YouTube where the 8s gen 3 devices reached 47-48°C temps and instantly throttled after only 15 minutes of playing heavy games.

If you're seeking power and affordability, consider the Poco x6 Pro (8300 Ultra) but if stability and camera quality are your priorities, then the Poco F6/Redmi Turbo 3 (8s Gen 3) may be the better choice. Both offer excellent performance and battery life, however, heat generation may vary depending on your region and phone usage habits. Snapdragon and Dimensity are my go-to choices. The phones I've mentioned are the only ones I know that utilize 8s Gen 3 or 8300 Ultra.

Click on the link below to see gameplay from 8s gen 3 and Redmi turbo 3. The video features Genshin Impact on Redmi Turbo 3 using 8s gen 3, and it's freezing during gameplay.https://youtu.be/fBER01Ol_rE?si=UmCtb_MOyWDqngYHThe issue appears to stem from Xiaomi's software. MediaTek 8300 is lagging due to Xiaomi, and now Qualcomm 8s gen 3 is also experiencing issues?

The Dimensity 8300 is a more versatile chipset than the 8s Gen 3 because there are no budget-friendly Snapdragon phones equipped with flagship and premium mid-range System on Chips (SoCs) such as the Sd888, Sd870, Sd865+ 7+ Gen 2, unlike MediaTek.

The Dimensity 8300 is equivalent to the 8s Gen 3, 7+ Gen 3, and 8+ Gen 1. However, in terms of pricing, Snapdragon's low-end/mid-range is equivalent to MediaTek's premium mid-range chipset, the 8300.

The 3rd generation of the 8s series doesn't support 8K. Is this website even doing any research?
