Each year, we head up the layout of Executive Dialog reports summing up the discussions held at the 's Connections conference. Using a bright color palette, visual wayfinding via labels and careful use of color, we organized the information in the reports to be easy to follow and digest. Why does reputation really matter? And what reputation do we want as a healthcare industry? Some great discussion on these central questions this morning at the MedNews Trust in the Digital Age forum. The key themes I took away: 1. The healthcare industry has a great value story to tell - we need to take a more purposeful and intentional approach to telling it. 2. The reputation risks of saying the wrong thing are usually outweighed by saying nothing. 3. Corporate reputation is an enabler of business success, not an end in itself. 4. Communications characterised by clarity of purpose, proximity and relevance to our stakeholders, and authenticity will help build trust and shape the way we're perceived by those stakeholders.Thank you Megan Brodie for hosting a terrific event, and to Oliver Freedman John Morton, Matt Zeller, Roger Christie, Adam Connolly and others for leading a highly engaging and important discussion. #Reputation #Healthcare

Last year we spoke to senior leaders, from industry and agency, to gain insight into the challenges, perspectives, and opportunities for evaluation in healthcare communications. The summary of what we heard is now published in this month’s PME. You can read the summary now, here: https://bit.ly/42bEf4YBut we did more than just listen. In response, an HCA working group from industry and agency has developed a new Evaluation Value Proposition, providing everyone who is involved in health communications with a useful guide to why measurement and evaluation is fundamental to our work, which can act as a catalyst for discussions between all stakeholders. The Evaluation Value Proposition will be launched next week (30th January). You can join the virtual launch meeting, where the working group will outline and discuss the content, by registering here: https://bit.ly/3GHmXmALet’s make 2024 the year where measurement and evaluation are better valued and become fundamental to all our communications.#ValueEvaluation #TogetherForBetter #HealthComms
