Apple New iOS ComingApple's iOS 18 update will arrive later this year, including a host of new features for your iPhone. While every iPhone model that currently supports iOS 17 will support iOS 18, only a few select models will support Apple Intelligence. Apple's generative AI system is an important aspect of the new update; it can be used to quickly summarize text in Safari, create personalized images in Messages, and ask Siri to perform more complex tasks than ever before. The few models with access have the latest and most advanced chipset capable of supporting the new AI features. #apple #ios #appleintelligence #ai #msp

Co Pilot + PCMicrosoft recently introduced Copilot+ PCs, a fast and intelligent Windows PC reminaged to deliver better performance and new AI experiences. One of the new exclusive experiences is Recall, a feature that will periodically take a snapshot of what appears on your screen to create an explorable visual timeline. The images are encrypted, stored, and analyzed locally using AI capabilities to understand their context. This means you can easily retrace your steps to find things from apps, websites, images, and documents that you've previously seen on your PC. Learn more about how the "photographic memory" works and when it will be available for use. #copilot #microsoft #automation #msp #tuesday

Wondering If Microsoft Co-Pilot Is For You?AI is everywhere. And if you spend any time in the Microsoft ecosystem, I am sure you have stumbled across all sorts of information about Copilot. My first take on this pricey addition to your MS licensing is it can be a useful companion to the Microsoft suite when building agendas, summarizing email content, developing instructions, and parsing documentation for information.Although it may not be for everyone in your universe, there is promise for those looking to minimize the tasks which can be easily consumed by Copilot.Feel free to reach out for more details. #copilot #o365 #ai #msp #automation

Beware of the Bug A researcher recently found a bug that allows anyone to impersonate Microsoft corporate email accounts. The email-spoofing bug only works when sending the email to Outlook accounts, which is still at least 400 million users around the world. The phishing attempt looks credible and is therefore more likely to trick targets. In order to prevent malicious hackers from exploiting the bug, no technical details are being shared. #spoof #outlook #microsoft #msp #stayvigilant

Best Buy / Geek Squad "Award"Best Buy and its tech support subsidiaryGeek Squadwere the most commonly impersonated brands by scammers in 2023, with over50,000 reports made to the US Federal Trade Commission. The FTC is offering advice to help others avoid falling victim to scams like this, starting off with stopping and checking it out; talk to someone you trust, especially if you are being rushed into sending money, buying gift cards, or investing in cryptocurrency. Next, do not click on links or respond to unexpected messages; contact the company using a phone number or website you know is real to verify the legitimacy. Lastly, don't pay anyone who demands a specific type of payment and says there's only one way to pay. #stayvigilant #bestbuy #geeksquad #phishing #msp #cybersecurity#knowbe4

Continuing The Celebration MCG, Inc. was formed in 1984 as a fledging microcomputer consulting company borne out of the days when Arthur Andersen did not think PCs would be a profitable business model. Likewise, who would think Air Jordan's would have the staying power they did. But we both have proven a quality product backed by a great company will always endure. #40years #anniversary #msp #nike

When It Snows It Pours...After Ticketmaster linked their recent data breach to cloud data company Snowflake, loan comparison site LendingTree is similarly confirming its QuoteWizard subsidiaryalso had data stolen from Snowflake. Snowflake has so far said there wasn't a data breach of its own systems; instead, they are stating customers were not using multi-factor authentication, which allowed cybercriminals to download hugeamounts of data from customers' environments. This security measure is not enforced by Snowflake nor does the company require customers to enable it by default. There are a lot of unknown questions to be answered, but Snowflake is keeping quiet for now. #snowflake #ticketmaster #databreach #mssp #stayvigilant
